I have my X, Y, and Z axis moving reasonably well tuned. While the response isn't perfect, I am satisfied with the step response.

When I go into KmotionCNC I can use the jog buttoms to move the three axis. The encoder counts in the Axis Screen show the encoder counts are the same for one turn of the handwheel, but for that same one rotation of the handwheel display in KmotionCNC shows the X axis has moved twice as far as the Y axis ....even though they have moved the same amount. Where is the setup screen so the software knows how many counts = 1" of travel?

Whatle all 3 axis are wired the same and seem to be set up exactly the same, the Y Axis moves the opposite direction that is expected. The X and Z axis move in the correct direction.

When I try to run a simple G-code program it can't sind any axis enabled. I suspect I am skipping a setup screen - but I can't find any seup screens.

Hi funncarsmi,

The axes resolution is specified in:

KMotionCNC | Tool Setup | Trajectory Planner | Axis Parameters | cnts/inch

You can reverse the direction of a servo Axis by changing signs of both the InputGain0 and OutputGain parameters
